3 Tastily prepares, cooks and packages the meals fresh with a 7 day shelf-life

4 Your meals are delivered in insulated packaging by DPD on the following Wednesday

5 You will have access to the customer portal where you can pause, skip or cancel your subscription, as well as changing your meals

6 You can update your next order again before Friday at 12pm

7 Once finished, rinse the tray and recycle. The box, insulation and branded sleeve can be recycled as well. Returns option is coming soon...

What is a Tastily food subscription service?

Tastily delivers freshly cooked, vacuum packed chilled meals to your home or office each week as part of a meal subscription service. Tastily offers a flexible, minimum commitment subscription, meaning that you can join us, order, eat, pause, change, and re-order at the touch of a button on the customer portal. All we ask is that you place and pay for your order by the deadline each week (see below), and we will do the rest. There is no long term commitment and no complicated sign up procedure. Now if that doesn't get your tastebuds going, what will? Trust us, our menu is nowhere near as dull.

How do I get a Tastily account?

When you sign up for your first order, we will create an account for you. This will give you control over all your meal choices, delivery instructions and payments. Your customer portal is your happy place, the place to make any changes or updates to your order.

How do I pay for my order?

After you have made your first payment, by credit or debit card, your account will be billed on a weekly basis on Friday at 12pm unless you pause, skip or cancel your subscription. Please don't cancel though because we are a young company and really care about giving our customers the best of everything, except cancelling, so we might make it as long and painful as possible.

What do you do with my personal information?

Nothing, apart from use it to direct your delivery. We store only essential information for managing your order. We will never pass this on to any other individual or organisation. We will occasionally send you news updates about Tastily or our special offers, obviously. Which we know can be annoying, so you can opt not to receive these emails via the customer portal. But you might miss out on new dishes. Your choice.

When does Tastily Deliver?

We deliver every Wednesday to your nominated address between 8:00am and 8:00pm.

What happens if I am out?

You shouldn't be out. You should be staring at your front door until it arrives. However if there has been an emergency, like the world is about to end, then your Tastily delivery will be left in your designated safe storage space in an ice-cooled box that will keep your food fresh and chilled for up to 24 hours. You can enter details of your safe storage space when you check out your order on the Tastily website.

When do I have to order my meal by?

All orders or any changes must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Friday to receive it the following Wednesday.

Can I change or skip my order?

Yes. We like to offer you variety. As long as you change your order on the customer portal before 12pm on the Friday before your delivery, we will make sure to update it.  If you are going to be away for a while, you can pause your deliveries with the press of a button in the customer portal.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, not at all, never! What you pay when you place an order covers everything. You can even upgrade to large for an extra £1 per meal.

How do I cancel my subscription?

We would like to make this answer as long as possible so you get fed up of reading it and give up trying to find the answer, but we're not like that. You can make any changes to your subscription via the customer portal. We are unable to cancel any orders or refund charges for cancellations if these are not made before the Friday 12pm deadline.

Your Choices

What sizes are the Tastily meals?

Our meals are made in single portion servings. The regular meal size is between 400-500 cals. But for all you beef cakes (or tofu cakes) out there, there is also an option to have a larger size which is between 600-700 cals.

Does Tastily offer vegan options?

We are proud to say, Yes. A quarter of our menu is vegan, and we plan to grow this even further.

How do I cook a Tastily meal?

If it hasn't arrived yet, wait until it arrives. Then simply remove the outer sleeve, peel back the corner of the film layer and using your microwave, heat to eat in three minutes. If you prefer to use an oven, just remove the outer sleeve and the film cover, place on baking tray and cook at 160 degree for 30 minutes.

Is Tastily food free range or organic?

We aim to include as much free range and organic produce as possible. All eggs used in our dishes are free range. And we source all our meat from British farms which are members of the Red Tractor Assurance scheme, which provides assurance that the food has been produced to a high standard across the whole length of the food chain.

How do I know what ingredients are in each meal?

We use only the freshest ingredients, all of which can be seen on the branded sleeve. We are always trying to improve our dishes so the most up to date ingredients lists can be found on the menu section of the website.

How do I know when to eat my food?

A use before date is clearly shown on every dish.

Can I freeze my Tastily food?

You can freeze the meals and consume within 2 months, however we challenge you to try and do so. Our founder Will tried, but it turns out he has no will power. We bet he's never heard that one before.

What do I do if I have allergies to certain foods?

All allergens are clearly stated on the website and branded sleeves. We'd be nuts not to.

What happens if a meal isnt fresh?

Your meals should be fresh for 24 hours in the refrigerated box and then for a further 7 days but if you believe your meal is spoiled please say and we'll try to freshen up that smile.

Do you have a hygiene rating?

We will do. You're getting a five star service when it comes to cleanliness. Food is prepared in a production kitchen which will be attaining the highest hygiene rating issued by Waverley Council once they have been to see how amazing it is.

Is your kitchen nut free?

For those of you who blow up at the sight of a peanut, we simply want to say, sorry. To get the most authentic flavours we do use tree and ground nuts in some of our meals.

How does the food stay fresh for 7 days?

The food is packaged using state-of-the-art Modified Atmosphere Packaging which allows for extended shelf life. Without getting into the technicalities, it basically sucks out the air in the tray and replaces it with carbon dioxide and nitrogen which keeps the food fresh. Our menu is also designed for maximum shelf life.

What packaging do you use?

Our trays are custom made at Faerch, using their Evolve plastic which is made from 85% recycled plastic, arguably the most environmnetally friendly trays on the market. And there's also nothing boring about our board, our branded sleeves and outer box are made from 100% recyclable paper, oh and so is our insulation. We don't like to go on, but even the ice packets can be emptied and recycled. Although we are starting at an incredibly high level of sustainability, we are still working with our suppliers to be leaders in this field.

How do deliveries work?

It's simple. You tell us where you live or work, and we deliver for free in carbon neutral vans. And you'll be pleased to know, our delivery partners DPD, were voted the No.1 Delivery company for Customer Service and Reliability.

Do I have to pay for deliveries?

Don't talk silly. We are pleased to offer free carbon neutral delivery to all our mainland UK customers.

What precautions are you taking in light of COVID-19?

We take the safety of our staff and customers very seriously. For us safety is almost as important as taste. That's why we are adhering to government and industry regulations to ensure best practice and PPE.

What is the Tastily 'Refer a Friend' plan?.
